There’s nothing like an audiobook or some tunes to make a long road trip with kids more pleasant. Then there’s added benefit of having your kids actually learn something while you drive.

Our kids are three and four now and we are starting to have a lot of discussions about waste, saving water, turning lights off and why we need to look after the planet. Yep, we watched The War On Waste and it freaked me out too!

Now I’m trying to make amends for years of disposable nappies and way too much food waste. Then Earth Day happened and the dialogue continued.

It got me thinking that there had to be some great resources out there in the form of audiobooks that can keep the message going while also keeping them occupied when we are driving.

I’ve gotta say, while there are HEAPS of amazing normal books about these topics, audiobooks and recorded versions were super thin on the ground. So let me know if you come across any cos they sure are hard to find.

I did some digging and this is what I found…
